The A502 was blocked in both directions from Armitage Road to Hoop Lane due to the incident, which began at 11.03am on Monday, August 11.

The road was reopened at 1.01pm.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 11.03am today (August 11) to reports of an incident on Golders Way, Golders Green.

“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, and paramedics from our hazardous area response team.

“We treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital.”

The incident caused slow traffic, and diversions were put in place for buses 83, 183, 210, 240, H2, and H3.

The situation has since been resolved, and the road was reopened at 1.01pm.

The specific nature of the incident, however, has not been disclosed.

The ambulance service has confirmed the involvement of a man who required hospital treatment.

The road was blocked between Armitage Road and Hoop Lane, impacting several bus routes.

The road was reopened shortly after 1pm, with traffic flow returning to normal.
