Visually, the Vivo Vision shares more similarities with Apple’s Vision Pro than the more popular Meta Quest 3 or Meta Quest 3S (curr. $299 on Amazon). As the embedded photo and video emphasise, Vivo’s first headset has a metal frame surrounding a visor-style front display within which its cameras also sit. Moreover, the Vivo Vision borrows its digital crown, light seal and rear band directly from the Vision Pro.

Underlining Vivo’s focus on rivalling Apple, Hong Yi, General Manager of Vivo Smart Device Products, claims that the Vivo Vision will deliver experiences on par with the Vision Pro. Vivo will also only offer the Vision via in-store experiences across China rather than through a full market release. Hopefully, Vivo will provide more details about when the Vision will be available to purchase during next week’s launch event.
