Hollyoaks has revealed a rather awkward love triangle plot, with mother and daughter Leela and Peri Lomax both going after the same man.
Next week, the duo are both impressed by Prince McQueen when he offers to take Leela’s son Daniel to a barber who specialises in afros – as the young boy currently gets his hair cut by Marie.
It’s a mood booster for Prince, who earlier in this week finds out that his former fiancée Zoe is engaged again, and that her new husband-to-be is keen to adopt his son Theo.
He is devastated that he feels further from his little boy than ever before, but he’s given the opportunity to fill a paternal role again when he spends the day looking after Daniel.

The pair get on famously, something that doesn’t go unnoticed by Peri, who sticks around to spend time with Prince at the end of the day.
She decides to take a chance on love and asks Prince out for a drink. He agrees and the pair organise a time for their date as their romance looks set to blossom.
With love in the air, Leela notices that her daughter seems to be in a particularly good mood. She asks if Prince has anything to do with the spring in her step but Peri denies this, perhaps wanting to keep things on the down low for now.

But with Joel in prison for the foreseeable and their marriage looking to be over, Peri encourages her mum to put herself out there and get back into the dating world.
Later in Casa McQueen, Prince finds a sweet note from Peri, telling him that she is looking forward to their date.
But at that moment, Prince also gets a cheeky text, asking if he wanted to have some no-strings fun – and the message is sent by none other than Leela!

With Prince having set up a date with both Lomax women, John Paul offers some firm advice and encourages him to pick just either Peri or Leela.
However, Ste overhears this chat about his sister and his niece, and makes it very clear that Prince should stay away from them both.
Will Prince choose to date either Peri or Leela – or will he leave them both alone?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
