Leeds United News have the latest exclusive information on a player linked to the Whites with the same agent as Dan James.
Dan James penned fresh terms at Elland Road this summer via a four-year deal at Leeds United, with James taking a pay cut to remain with Leeds past 2026.
However, his agent also represents a number of other players and Daniel Farke’s side are in advanced talks with another. Leeds United News revealed exclusively that James Justin of Leicester City is on Leeds’ radar.
Since then, Justin and Leeds have advanced closer to a conclusion. The Leicester defender arguably needs a fresh start at Leeds and they are now closing in on the deal to bring him in.

Speaking yesterday Leeds United News transfer correspondent Graeme Bailey revealed Justin is a player they are interested in alongside Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
He said: “James Justin, as we know, is a player — like a Maitland-Niles — that Leeds need. Leeds require someone, and they’re looking at players who can cover both sides.
“He can do a very good job. Not on small money, though, that’s the thing.”

Despite that potential stumbling block with wages, Bailey has since posted a follow-up this morning with more positive news.

Bailey provided the latest: “Leeds have now held talks with Justin’s camp and have made progress with him.
“He is very keen to make the move — Leeds know there are other clubs keen and they want to get this over-the-line as quickly as possible.”
It is believed England international Justin would cost Leeds around £6 million, with Everton also interested.

Justin is not the only player Leeds like at Leicester and it was said Leeds held a meeting with Bilal El Khannouss’ camp last week.
That was amid claims that Leeds’ El Khannouss interest has been most serious of any of the reported teams in the race of late.
However, there have been conflicting reports. One statement has been made believing that Leicester are likely to sell El Khannouss and now Newcastle United have dropped out of the El Khannouss race.
Others say that El Khannouss is not guaranteed to leave Leicester. More frustratingly for Leeds, West Ham United have joined the El Khannouss race just after Newcastle dropped out for the playmaker.
Other Leeds fans want Abdul Fatawu on top of Justin and El Khannouss, but there is still a chance they secure two players from Leicester imminently.
