A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder following a firearms incident in Edinburgh.
Njanko Njie, 25, also faces charges of possession of a gun and an offence under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Police were called to Hailesland Gardens in the Wester Hailes area on 24 July following reports of a gun being fired.
Njie made no plea at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday and was remanded in custody to appear again within the next eight days.
