The Serbian broadcaster RTS has confirmed it will not participate at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Tbilisi.
Serbia has withdrawn from competing in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the third year in a row. Sandra Perović, Entertainment Editor for RTS, confirmed that Serbia withdrew again for economic reasons.
Serbia last participated in Junior Eurovision in 2022. Katarina Savić finished 13th in Yerevan with “Svet bez granica”, scoring 92 points.
Junior Eurovision 2025
Junior Eurovision 2025 will be held on December 13 in Tbilisi after Andria Putkaradze gave Georgia their record-breaking fourth victory with “To My Mom”. The contest will be held at the Olympic Palace, which previously hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2017.
A number of countries have either confirmed their participation in Junior Eurovision 2025 or signaled their intention to compete. These countries are:
Estonia and Germany have both withdrawn from the competition. The following broadcasters have confirmed they have no plans to return:

Serbia made its debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest as an independent country in 2006. Their best result is third place, which they achieved in 2007 with “Piši mi” by Nevena Božović and in 2010 with “Čarobna noć” by Sonja Škorić. Serbia competed annually until 2010, after which point RTS withdrew from the contest due to financial difficulties. Serbia returned to the contest in 2014 and competed annually until withdrawing in 2023.
