His Falkirk team were defeated at Parkhead in the last 16 of the Premier Sports Cup on Friday night.
Goals from Daizen Maeda, Alistair Johnston, and Dane Murray, along with Liam Henderson’s own goal, secured a 4-1 victory for Brendan Rodgers‘ side.
After the match, McGlynn praised Celtic‘s performance but was unsure if new signings were needed.
McGlynn said: “We were kind of makers of our own downfall.

“But, as I say, I thought Celtic were very, very good.
“We need to learn from it, as I’m sure we will.
“I know the Celtic fans are still wanting more signings, but there didn’t look much wrong with that team tonight to me.”
When asked by BBC Scotland if his team could be busy in the market before their Champions League play-off against Kairat Almaty, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers said: “I’ve just come out of the game here, so we’ll wait and see.
“We’ve named the squad, and then we’ll wait and see what happens before the game.
“If not, that’s the squad we’ll go with.”
