The Metropolitan Police was called to New Cross Road today (August 16) after reports of a stabbing.
Emergency services took a 55-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested following this incident.
He remains in police custody.
The police are investigating the circumstances, and a police cordon is in place.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 05:38hrs on Say, 16 August to reports of a stabbing in New Cross Road, SE14.
“Met officers attended the scene alongside London Ambulance Service, where they found a 55-year-old man suffering from stab wound injuries.
“He was taken to hospital where his condition has been assessed as neither life-changing nor life-threatening.
“A scene is in place while police investigate the circumstances.
“A 36-year-old male has been arrested and remains in police custody.
“Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the police on 101 quoting CAD 1645/16Aug.”
