GLASGOW will look to secure their Cab Direct Championship play-off place when they host Oxford at Ashfield tonight (Saturday, 7pm).

The Tigers go into the meeting in top form after their midweek Cup success against Edinburgh, and one more league win is now required to confirm a top four finish.

Kyle Howarth returns for the hosts who are therefore at full strength, as they take on a Cheetahs side who suffered two damaging defeats last week leaving them four points adrift of the play-offs with only three matches remaining.

The visitors bring in Sam Hagon at No.2 to guest for the suspended Francis Gusts, whilst Jonas Knudsen returns from Danish commitments at reserve.

Glasgow boss Cami Brown said: “This is definitely the best shape the team has been in for some time. With Villads (Nagel) producing amazing scores at No.2 and our reserves chipping in with big points, we look a very strong side.

“But that means nothing right now. No trophies are won in August. We need to maintain this form and get even better if we are going to win silverware.

“Oxford will pose a strong threat. They have an outstanding No.1 in Sam Masters and plenty of talent throughout the team.

“But our boys have shown what they can produce, and we want that standard once again. We want another show of strength.”

GLASGOW: Chris Harris, Villads Nagel, Dan Thompson, Leon Flint, Kyle Howarth, Freddy Hodder, Max Perry.

OXFORD: Sam Masters, Sam Hagon, Jordan Jenkins, Mitch McDiarmid, Cameron Heeps, Luke Killeen, Jonas Knudsen.
