Liverpool Celebrates, a family-friendly event taking place at the Pier Head over the August bank holiday, will allow children to attend for free on Sunday, August 24, with a paying adult.

The festival promises a packed weekend of live music, entertainment, and activities for all ages.

“Johnny Bongo will host a Bongo’s Bingo special, followed by artists recognised as some of the best tribute acts in the business playing all the singalong specials.

“There’s also face painting, stilt walkers and other entertainers with street food from around the world and sweet treats galore.

“With gates opening at 1pm, it’s one of the best-value events in the city this summer.”

On Sunday, the focus shifts to families, with a special edition of Bongo’s Bingo and performances from tribute acts including Taylor Swift, Amy Winehouse, ABBA, Whitney Houston, and Sabrina Carpenter.

Monday will pay tribute to Liverpool’s musical heritage with a Cavern Club-inspired line-up.

The day will feature European tribute artists performing songs by The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, and Billy Joel.
