France is dismayed at the announcement that the NGO Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has been placed on Russia’s list of “undesirable organisations,” the French foreign ministry said in a statement.
“This decision is part of the Russian authorities’ campaign of repression against any voice critical of the government, in complete disregard for freedom of expression and freedom of the press,” it said.
