EastEnders has confirmed what’s next for Joel Marshall, as he gets involved in a surprising team-up.
The troubled teenager has been getting worse with his abusive comments towards women recently, despite dad Ross and stepmum Vicki Fowler’s attempts to cut through the misogyny he’s consuming online.

He ropes his friend Tommy Moon in, which leads to him learning about Zoe Slater in an adjacent storyline.
Ravi Gulati is incensed to find out that Harry has roped in the boy who got his daughter Avani pregnant and subsequently said horrible things about her.
Joel then says even more horrible things to Amy and Lily in the café. When they call him out, Tommy is horrified to see Joel absolutely lose it.
Ross and Vicki later learn about what happened, but when they try to confront Joel about it, things turn ugly.

“Joel becomes embroiled in the Square’s criminal operation next week,” says our insider, “though Ravi is furious that Harry has got a teenager involved in their dodgy dealings.
“But stolen phones aside, Joel’s behaviour is continuing to worsen and his insults aimed at Lily and Amy are tough to watch. Will Ross finally realise that his son is out of control?”
