Sara Errani kicked off her team’s post-match interview after reaching the semifinals.
💬 “So happy, we have the opportunity to play more, that is key,” she said. “It was really tough today, the second set was crazy but we stayed there. Good team!”
Vavassori continued; “Our strength is to be there together. Our energy is always high, we have to do that. The energy of you guys (fans) was great too, it’s crazy for mixed doubles. They were playing great so it was really tough.
“Our game is like that, we have to be ready for the net game. Andrey was pushing so hard so it was not easy. It was a great match.”
And Errani concluded: “Keep focused. We want to play our best tomorrow so we will try to be ready.”
