Well, folks, it was inevitable, and it’s finally here. Following the likes of enormous taco festivals, pizza festivals, cocktail events, and more, a whopper of a burger festival is set to hit the city. Burger Fest UK will touch down in London next month for its inaugural event, bringing with it the country’s very best burger makers.
Described as “the biggest burger and beer festival the UK has ever seen”, Burger Fest UK will pit London’s beef-y patty flippers against contenders from around the country. They’ll be serving up everything from monstrous mounds of beef to ultra-thin and crispy smashburgers and everything in between. And you get to try the outrageous burger creations from all of them. Or, at least as many as you can stomach…
Burger Fest UK will take over London’s Signature Brewery taproom from September 13 – 14 for a meat-y weekend of indulgence. Naturally, you can expect plenty of ultra-fresh beers to wash down the food, alongside cocktails, sodas, special chef creations, and more.

So whose burger-y creations will you get to try? Among the confirmed names are:
- Meatcastles
- Smith’s of Bourton
- Black Cactus
- Leytonstone Tavern
- Baggio Burger
- Bun & Sum
- Strip Club Street Food
- 7Bone
- Zephyr Burger
And many more are set to be confirmed closer to the date. Each trader will serve a classic cheeseburger for £10 or less, with at least one special creation to represent them in the UK Burger Championships.

As if that wasn’t enough, there will even be a few non-burger-specific vendors serving up burger-y specials. The NYC-style pizza slingers from World Famous Gordos, for example, will be bringing back their cult cheeseburger pizza for the event.
Our top tip: Bring a few friends so you can split the burgers and sample even more of the vendors. Because, realistically, we’re not going to be able to eat more than two of these beef-filled behemoths.
The UK Burger Championships
Burger Fest UK isn’t just your chance to try the best burgers from around the UK. It’s also your opportunity to decide, collectively, who makes the very best burger in the country. Attendees will be able to vote for their favourites, and the vendor with the most votes will be crowned The People’s Champion.
