NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Norwich University Athletics is now hiring work study students for the 2025-26 academic year, with open positions across multiple departments that help make Cadet Athletics run smoothly and efficiently.
Students can now apply for roles in:
- Game Management – Scoreboard operation, shot clock operation, sideline crew, ball running, setup crew, and breakdown crew
- Athletic Communications – Graphic design, social media, livestreaming, photography, videography, statistics, sideline communication, play-by-play announcing, and PA announcing
- Strength & Conditioning – Equipment maintenance, facility setup, lifting session assistance, tracking attendance or data, clinic support, and event staffing
- Certified Lifeguards – Lap swim monitoring, pool rule enforcement, emergency response, and safety protocol maintenance
- Equipment Room – Laundry operations, locker room setup, travel bag packing, inventory support, and gear organization
Before applying, students must check their Federal Work Study eligibility with the Financial Aid Office, located on the third floor of Jackman Hall. The office can also be reached by phone at 802-485-2850.
Norwich Athletics will be present at the fall New Student Engagement Fair on Saturday, Aug. 23. Athletics and Athletic Communications will host tables at the event to discuss available roles and answer student questions.
