WWE’s Pete Dunne surprised fans by appearing at a Riot Cabaret Pro Wrestling event in London, England, on Friday.

Dunne emerged after the main event of ‘Someone’s Knocking at the Door’, which saw Nico Angelo defeat Mark Andrews for the Riot Cabaret Championship.

Following the match at The Clapham Grand, Andrews attacked the new champion with a steel chair. Dunne’s music played, and he came to the ring to confront Andrews and save Angelo.

This marks the second time Dunne has appeared for a non-WWE promotion in August. He previously competed at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIV event on August 2, where he was victorious against Jonathan Gresham.

Dunne has been absent from WWE’s main roster television programming since April.

However, a masked figure, widely believed to be Dunne, has recently become involved in the El Grande Americano storyline on Monday Night Raw, first appearing on the July 28 episode to interfere in a World Tag Team Championship match.
