In a surprisingly candid admission, Prince William revealed what the sleeping arrangements are at the Adelaide Cottage between him, Kate Middleton and their three children

While Prince William and Kate are planning their big relocation to Forest Lodge, they continue to reside at Adelaide Cottage: a delightful five-bedroom residence on the Windsor estate.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have occupied the scenic property for three years alongside their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — plus their cherished family pet, Orla, the cocker spaniel.
Although most of their personal family moments remain private, William has openly shared the unconventional sleeping setup he maintains with Kate and one other unexpected bedroom companion. During a Royal engagement last year, William let the intimate detail out while petting a supporter’s dog during a trip to Duchy College in Cornwall.

While he conversed with Louise Harland and petted her dog Jacks, the prince mentioned how Orla frequently sleeps in bed with the Royal pair.

Louise told Hits Radio Cornwall, “[William] said that his little dog sleeps on the bed with them at night, with him and Kate.
“[He was] absolutely in love with my little dog. He asked what breed he was, and he’s never met one of those breeds; he’s a Cockerjack, so he’s a little bit of a unique combination.”
For William’s birthday this year, Kate posted a sweet photograph of William and Orla, along with Orla’s litter of new puppies.
The black cocker spaniel — a gift from Kate’s brother James Middleton in 2020 – recently became a mom to four adorable puppies.
The photo of William, Orla and her pups was snapped by the princess in Windsor earlier in June. The caption reads, “Happy birthday! Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies!”.

It appears the Wales family has a soft spot for animals beyond their dogs.
Last year, William visited Woodgate Valley Urban Farm, where he got up close and personal with various animals, including some super cuddly guinea pigs.
The prince had the chance to pet them and even groom one named Snowflake. He shared with some of the folks he met at the farm, “These guys are pretty cool. We’ve got guinea pigs at home, and they are not like this.
“I have to spend my life cleaning out the guinea pig cage because the children forget to do it. And then they run off because you have to handle them all the time, that’s why these ones are so calm. The ones we’ve got at home, they’re off. You have to keep them constantly stroked and looked after.”
