Terence Crawford forced father to pull Shawn Porter from title fight
Eventually sharing the squared circle against Ohio native Shawn Porter back in 2021, Crawford would force an impressive victory over the now-retired former world champion.
Down on the judge’s scorecard ahead of the tenth round of their clash, Crawford would drop Porter twice in quick succession during the same frame.
And springing in the pocket on both occasions, Crawford would sit Porter on the seat of his pants, with the Cleveland challenger punching the canvas with his gloves in frustration after the second knockdown.
After returning to his feet for another standing eight count, Porter was pulled from the bout by his father Kenny, before stomping his feet in disgust with the stoppage.
