The track is looking to fill positions in Concessions, Culinary, Dining, Guest Services, Parking, Retail and Security, among other areas. Those interested may apply online.

Most positions are entry level and do not require formal training other than the paid training the track provides. Employees during the meet normally work 40 paid hours per week, Keeneland said.

Keeneland also urged those with all levels of culinary and waitstaff experience to apply for a number of jobs available with Keeneland Hospitality, which provides food and beverage service for the track’s entire campus.

Keeneland’s Hiring Center will be open every Tuesday and Thursday through September from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET. It’s on the second floor of the racetrack Grandstand. Applicants can enter the South entrance near the Information Center and the Keeneland Shop and take Elevator B to the second floor.

Candidates may apply for positions and get on-site interviews. Keeneland said because employment offers could be made on the spot, applicants should have two forms of identification on them.

Positions are available online for candidates to apply at any time, Keeneland said. Those who want to learn more about future job opportunities are encouraged to sign up to receive the “Employment Opportunities” e-newsletter.

In addition to employment opportunities, Keeneland also offers a Volunteer Group program available for community groups. The track said the program enables fraternities, sororities, high school booster clubs, senior groups, charitable organizations and other certified groups with a tax identification number to receive a contribution of $10 for every hour that one of their members works during the Fall Meet.
