Meghan Markle has revealed her ‘late night indulgence’ in a new podcast episode.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, opened up about her night time guilty pleasure during an interview on The Circuit with Bloomberg’s Emily Chang on Tuesday.
Meghan revealed that after long days of parenting her two young children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, she often ends her nights with the language-learning app Duolingo.
She admitted: ‘My late-night indulgence now is just a lot of Duolingo, it’s great when I can find the time.
‘I’m Duolingo-ing French. I committed to learning it, and it’s really fun.’
Meghan, who studied the language for six years in high school and university, previously revealed she wanted to brush up on her French language skills so she could become fluent.
Elsewhere Meghan revealed her nighttime routine with her children, saying they do bathtime and then ‘read children’s books.’
While walking through the Monecito bookstore Godmothers, Meghan admitted she hasn’t had the time to get stuck into a book she enjoys in a ‘long time.’
She claimed her main priority at the moment were ‘kids books and parenting books’.

The second instalment of Meghan’s cooking and lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan, dropped on Netflix this morning.
During the show, the Duchess shares intimate details of her family life – from her early dates with Prince Harry and when she fell in love, to their children Archie and Lilibet’s favourite foods and colours.
The Netflix show was filmed last year in a rented home in Montecito, close to the Sussexes’ own mansion.
The first series pulled in 5.3 million views, and was in the top five per cent of Netflix shows for the first half of 2025.
She and Harry signed a five-year contract reported to be worth $100million (£74,119,643) with Netflix but it has since been replaced by a first-look deal which gives the streaming giant first refusal on any shows they create.
Netflix is also funding the couple’s Archewell Productions company.
One proposal said to have been mentioned among a long list of possibilities is a documentary marking the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death in 2027.
The Sussexes’ office this week declined to confirm or deny if that is under consideration.

Yesterday, her most recent As Ever product launch was hit with a technical glitch as the Duchess of Sussex unveiled her newest ‘seasonal products’.
The Duchess of Sussex strategically timed the launch of her latest items to coincide with the release of her new eight part series, with Love Meghan, which landed on Netflix yesterday morning.
However, as her new products were launched on the As Ever website it appeared to have experienced a glitch with generic shirts with ‘example product title’ with no descriptions showing on the screen.
Her latest product drop includes a restock of a range of herbal teas – lemon, hibiscus, and peppermint – as well as $9 (£6.67) raspberry spread.
Flower sprinkles, $14 (£10.38) shortbread cookie mix, priced at $14 (£10.38), and a $14 (£10.38) crepe mix also made a return to the As Ever website, with a new orange marmalade in keepsake packaging $14 (£10.38) also making its debut.
Ahead of the release of season two of With Love, Meghan, the Duchess announced in a newsletter that customers would be able to shop some of the brand’s bestsellers as well as a ‘delectable new fruit spread’.
‘And just to add to the music to your ears, we are excited to share so many more new offerings as we transition to fall,’ Meghan said in the newsletter.
It follows the success of her previous launches, which included wildflower honey, raspberry and apricot spreads, a selection of teas, and even her own 2023 and 2024 Napa Valley Rosé.
Meghan, 44, launched her lifestyle brand earlier this year, releasing the first products in April, which included a range of teas, a raspberry spread, and a wildflower honey with honeycomb
The Duchess of Sussex’s new orange marmalade is available individually for $9 (£6.67) or with keepsake packaging for $14 (£10.38)

Lilibet, four, can be seen examining a new portrait of the family’s beloved dog Guy, who passed away earlier this year, at the Sussexes’ Montecito mansion in a clip shared on Meghan’s Instagram story today
Each of her launches have been met with frenzied excitement from her fans, with stock reportedly selling out almost immediately.
The Duchess has leaned heavily into the domestic and artisan aesthetic, with With Love, Meghan showcasing her baking in a sunlit kitchen alongside her celebrity friends.
In one episode, she prepares sourdough for Chrissy Teigen and uses pre-made puff pastry to whip up her version of McDonald’s apple pies with Tan France.
Despite the wholesome imagery, Meghan admits to chef Christina Tosi: ‘Usually, I don’t like baking because it’s so measured.’
Her As Ever range, which first launched in March, includes pre-measured shortbread cookie and crepe mixes — an apparent nod to her desire for a more relaxed approach to home baking.
It comes after Meghan shared a rare glimpse of daughter Lilibet at their Montecito home today after debuting the second season of her Netflix show.
In a sweet clip shared to Meghan’s Instagram, Lilibet, four, examines and kisses a new portrait of the family’s beloved dog Guy, who passed away earlier this year.
The Duchess of Sussex revealed the black-and-white picture of the pet was a ‘morning’ surprise from Prince Harry to mark the release of her second Netflix series – With Love, Meghan.
Earlier today, in a short heartwarming video captioned by Meghan: ‘Morning surprise from my husband,’ a barefoot Lilibet still in her pyjamas, can be seen bouncing over to the photo of the beloved pooch and giving it a sweet kiss.
The Duchess of Sussex announced Guy had passed away in a tribute to the ‘sweet’ pooch in January, as she admitted she has cried ‘too many tears to count‘.
Her heartfelt message, included photos of Guy huddled up in bed, enjoying cuddles with Harry, and even keeping the Duchess company as she made batches of her famous jam.
‘In Memory of Guy,’ she captioned the post at the time, while urging followers to ‘adopt not shop’.
Meghan adopted Guy from a kill shelter in Canada in 2015, she told her fans at the time.
‘I swooped him up….and fell in love,’ she wrote. ‘They referred to him as “the little guy” because he was so small and frail, so I named him “Guy”. And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for.’
