There’s huge scenes ahead on Coronation Street as Lisa Swain is rocked by some big twists in upcoming episodes.
A new trailer for September on the ITV soap has revealed danger for her daughter Betsy Swain, a possible engagement to her partner Carla Connor and her finally meeting the mystery Tia Wardley. But will Lisa finally get to the bottom of what happened to her late wife Becky Swain?
Viewers believe there’s something rather telling in the look on Lisa’s face as she’s shown gasping, also appearing to drop a glass of red wine. But what has left Lisa so stunned, with her almost looking horrified?
She’s also crying, so whatever it is she’s learned or seen has truly rocked her and must be big. Some viewers believe it could tie in with the arrival of Tia, with others wondering if it’s linked to her boss DI Costello amid theories he is corrupt.

Then there’s the theory of a DNA twist, or the fact that her daughter Betsy could face danger in a car accident. Fans are also questioning if Lisa’s discovery is linked to her late wife Becky in a major twist.
So is Becky alive, and does she show up? Is it linked to Becky’s death, and is it connected to all the other drama? Fans will have to stay tuned to find out!
Sharing their theories, one fan said: “What if that scene where Lisa breaks the wine glass is a flashback to when Costello tells Lisa that Becky is dead?” suggesting a past scene could be referenced. Another fan said: “I’m thinking either Tia spills the tea on Costello, or Tia is Becky’s daughter from a secret affair.”
A third fan queried: “I was a FIRM Becky is DEAD believer the whole time, but after that spoiler video.” Another fan agreed: “Face of a wife to whom has just found out her dead wife is alive.”

This theory was shared repeatedly, with one writing: “I’ve been saying Becky is alive for a while but now I REALLY think Becky is alive and I’m SCARED.” A further comment said: “This is very much the face of someone who’s ‘dead’ wife has suddenly rocked up to say hi.”
As for another theory, one fan suggested: “What if Tia Wardley says Becky saved her life by pushing her out of the way of the Radcliffe’s car.” Viewers will have to tune in next week and beyond to see what happens.
