The first ever Primark Home store in Great Britain, dedicated to interiors inspiration, is preparing to open its doors in Greater Manchester.

The MEN got a first look inside the huge new store today, ahead of the grand opening of Primark Home at Trafford Palazzo on Friday, August 29.

And it’s a real treasure trove of interiors, packed with soft furnishings, dining wear, bedding and towels in a vast 12,000 sq ft space, opposite the main Primark store at the shopping centre.

Bosses say they hope to combine “style, comfort and value” with the wide range of interiors inside the store.

As well as affordable essentials like bedding, plates, mugs and tablewear, it also has curated seasonal sections and an “elevated edit”- including for the opening period huge new sections dedicated to Autumnal colours with an array of cute pumpkin pillows as well as Halloween themes.

Families will also love the kids themed interiors, while there’s a dedicated section for “back to uni” student essentials in store too.

There’s also a dedicated Travel Shop on the upper level, where you can get holiday ready with everything from stylish suitcases to quirky neck pillows and headphones.

Ceara Doyle, store manager at Primark Trafford Palazzo, said: “It’s incredibly exciting to be bringing the Primark Home concept to Trafford and I know there’s already lots of anticipation locally for opening day.

“We’re always looking for ways to give people a reason to come and shop in person, and we hope customers will love having a dedicated space to pick up their homeware favourites, with even more choice of affordable, quality products.

“We’re busy working behind the scenes to bring the new space to life, alongside a refresh of our main Trafford store, and we can’t wait to welcome shoppers through the doors.”

The new stores follows the debut of the standalone Primark Home concept in Belfast earlier this year.

The opening comes amid burgeoning developments at Trafford Palazzo, the shopping centre that sits next to the Trafford Centre.

Primark Home’s new next door neighbour will be the all-pink beauty empire P.Louise City which is scheduled to open on October 4 and which is already sparking lots of interest from fans of the make-up brand.

Mark Whittaker, managing director at Peel Retail and Leisure, said: “We couldn’t be prouder to be launching the first Primark Home store in Great Britain right here at Trafford Palazzo.

“Primark Home will offer something for everyone, from stylish, affordable essentials for students to great finds for families refreshing their spaces.

“It’s set to be a major draw for our visitors and a perfect fit for our growing offering.”
