Meghan Markle Reveals Never-Before-Seen Photos From Wedding to Prince Harry

In the episode, Meghan is joined by renowned chef Clare Smyth, the Chef Patron of the Michelin-starred London restaurant Core by Clare Smyth. Smyth played a key role in the royal couple’s big day by preparing their wedding dinner.

“We had the map where everything was sourced. We really wanted people to appreciate where every ingredient was coming from,” Meghan recalled of her wedding menu. “I mean, that was the most delicious meal. Everyone still talks about it.”

The new images featured in the series include photos of Meghan and Harry during their reception, along with glimpses of the venue décor and the evening fireworks. Meghan also highlighted the moment she changed into her Stella McCartney gown, which featured an open back and halter neckline, for the late-night celebration.

A Royal Look at Food, Family, & Firsts

An especially amusing moment in the episode came when Smyth revealed that Meghan and Harry requested fried chicken for their reception. “It’s not really something I typically do, so we had to try and create a recipe for fried chicken,” Smyth said.

Meghan laughed, saying, “Oh my gosh, I love that we have created something off menu and that our off-menu item is the fried chicken at Core. You know, we’re done, that’s it. If that’s my claim to fame, I’m thrilled.”

Beyond wedding memories, Meghan opened up about filming her lifestyle series outside the Montecito, California, home she shares with Harry and their two children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4. She explained that choosing a nearby rental allowed her to keep family life private.

“I wanted to protect that safe haven. We’re a close-knit family, and I love those moments — putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day,” she told People. “Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that’s a lot of people to have in your house!”

Prince Harry, 40, who made a brief cameo in season 1 of “With Love, Meghan,” does not appear on camera at all in season 2. A production insider explained the choice: “Whenever Harry visited set, he was always super polite and friendly, but it was clear he wanted this to be Meghan’s moment to shine.”
