Uncapped Cardiff City duo Ronan Kpakio and Dylan Lawlor have once again been called up to Craig Bellamy’s Wales squad for the upcoming games with Kazakhstan and Canada.

However, there is still no place in the squad for Bluebirds playmaker Rubin Colwill.

Kpakio was named from the off for Bellamy’s last squad, with Lawlor linking up later due to an injury to Neco Williams.

Nottingham Forest star Williams has now returned to the squad, as too has uncapped Coventry City midfielder Kai Andrews, who was left out of the last camp.

Colwill has been left out of Bellamy’s recent squads but his superb start to the season for the Bluebirds led to many expecting a call-up.

Captain Aaron Ramsey doesn’t make it despite receiving his first run out since March for new club Pumas UNAM.

The 34-year-old came on for his debut as a second-half substitute for the Mexican side as they played out a goalless draw at home to Club Puebla.

Ethan Ampadu and Connor Roberts are also missing due to injury, while Rabbi Matondo and Ollie Cooper are the only others missing from the last camp.

Meanwhile, Wrexham will be represented in a squad for the first time since Neil Taylor was called up in 2010, with Danny Ward, Kieffer Moore and Nathan Broadhead all included following their summer moves to the Racecourse.

Swansea City have two representatives in this latest squad, with Liam Cullen and Ben Cabango both called up.

Wales head to Astana next Thursday to take on Kazakhstan, having already racked up two wins, a draw, and a loss from their opening four games in Group J.

Bellamy’s men currently sit second in the group ahead of their trip east.

Meanwhile, the friendly against Canada on Tuesday, September 9, marks a return to Swansea for the men’s national team, with their last visit coming in November 2020, where they played out a goalless draw against the USA during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This will be the first match at the Swansea.com Stadium in front of a crowd since the meeting with Croatia in 2013.
