Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson decided to loan out a number of players who were deemed surplus to requirements, with some significantly struggling away from the Racecourse Ground.
This summer brought about significant changes for Wrexham as Phil Parkinson decided to loan out several players.
Parkinson has been bold with his approach following promotion to the Championship, as Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac were keen to financially back the Red Dragons boss with signings.
The signings made were always set to result in some unpopular departures, including Paul Mullin leaving Wrexham on loan to Wigan Athletic.
We have now taken a look at how Wrexham’s loanees have fared at the start of the season at their new clubs.

Wrexham fans were keen to see Paul Mullin hit the heights in League One, but it has been a difficult start to his time at the DW Stadium.
The 30-year-old failed to make an impact in his opening few games, but he has since found goalscoring form.
Mullin won over the Wigan Athletic fans after his goal vs Rotherham United from off the bench to help the Latics to a 2-2 draw. The Liverpudlian also bagged a goal in the EFL Cup first round in a 1-0 win against Notts County.
Hopefully, Wigan Athletic boss Ryan Lowe will soon realise the talents of Mullin and award the forward with regular starts in the Championship.

Mo Faal’s Port Vale have managed to defeat Birmingham City in the EFL Cup second round, handing the Blues their first loss of the 2025/26 season.
The Wrexham loanee was awarded with a start up top against a semi-strong team put out by Chris Davies after he bagged the decisive goal in the first round against fellow League One side Blackpool.
Wrexham’s young forward will hope that he can be trusted more by Vale boss Darren Moore in the league, where he has only started on one occasion.

Phil Parkinson will have hoped that a number of Wrexham players on loan can show their talents away from the club in a bid to prove their worth ahead of next season. But, aside from Paul Mullin at Wigan Athletic and Mo Faal at Rotherham United, not many have been able to shine away from North Wales.
Sebastian Revan was handed a loan move to Burton Albion, where he has played on three occasions, only one of which was a start.
The Wrexham loanee has accumulated 180 minutes of action so far and still finds himself in a fight for regular first-team football with the Brewers.
After the defender played a full Championship campaign for Rotherham United in the 2023/24 season, it was expected that he would seamlessly fit into a mid-table League One outfit, but that is yet to happen.
Jake Bickerstaff’s time at Cheltenham Town has also been difficult, as five straight defeats has put his side bottom of League Two.
In that time, Cheltenham have only scored two, neither of which have been bagged by Bickerstaff.
Parkinson has previously labelled Bickerstaff as ‘excellent’, via Leader Live, and he will hope that he will turn around his and Cheltenham’s form.
The final loanee from Wrexham who has played for his side is Callum Edwards, who is yet to be given a start for National League North side Southport.
At the age of 19, Parkinson will be keen for Edwards to notch vital experience in non-league football, and hopefully the first four games are not a sign of things to come.
