Billboards teasing “something exciting” have appeared in the centre of Liverpool ONE. The shopping complex has welcomed an array of high profile brands this year in what has been one of the biggest ever for new arrivals.

White boards have been set up around the entrance of a unit on Manesty’s Lane. Bold red lettering on the surrounding structure apologises for the current appearance and teases that “something exciting” is on the way.

The text reads: “Something exciting is coming! Please excuse our appearance while we get things ready. We apologise for any inconvenience.”

The boarding is located next to the upcoming lifestyle store Anthropologie occupying 7,000 square feet on one floor and 5,000 square feet of trading space. An opening period is set for autumn.

Anthropologie will feature home, accessories and clothing, including Anthropologie’s own-label fashion collections, Maeve, Pilcro and Daily Practice – alongside a curated selection of popular womenswear brands.

Liverpool ONE is also gearing up to welcome the UK’s biggest Pop Mart store to date. Occupying a 6,200 sqft space on the upper level of South John Street, the new store will be close to other design-focused lifestyle brands like KENJI and MINISO.

The Liverpool shop will offer POP MART’s complete collection of collectible blind boxes, with ranges including exclusive characters such as Hirono, Crybaby, Peach Riot, Kubo, Skullpanda, and The Monsters, most commonly known as Labubus.

An opening date for the UK’s biggest POP MART store is yet to be announced. POP MART will be the latest arrival in a busy year for Liverpool ONE which has welcomed a number of high profile brands.

Rob Deacon, Landsec’s asset management director at Liverpool ONE, previously said: “You’ll be seeing a lot more vinyl going up over the next few months as the scheme’s tenant mix continues to evolve and elevate.

The brand will officially land in the city on Saturday, September 13. ARNE has also announced its food and drink concept, ARNE Bites, available in the Liverpool store.

ARNE Bites will offer “some of the best ice cream and milkshakes you’ll taste” while collaborating with local bakeries, sandwich shops and parlours.
