The Bury-born singer lit up the Mardi Gras stage with new music from his upcoming project Karanciaga.

He performed alongside Newcastle-based rapper Sebastenelli, singer Night Thomas, and models Luzino M. Neves and Tom Eckersall.

Jsky said: “I met a lot of beautiful souls this weekend.

“There really is no feeling like performing at Manchester Pride. It’s like coming home.”

The set featured his latest single Put It Pon Dem, crowd favourites Legs and Myself, and a surprise debut of We Don’t Speak featuring Night Thomas.

Chris Selman of Gay Times said: “A really great set. The songs sound huge.”

Earlier in the day, Jsky led BBC Pride in Manchester’s annual Pride Parade.

He said: “Walking through the streets of Manchester with BBC Pride was a proud moment for me.

“This year’s theme, ‘The Love Parade,’ was the perfect message.

“Love really is the greatest force.”
