Celebs enjoyed a glamorous bash under one roof on Friday, as they came together for the opening of one of Scotland’s most anticipated new wedding and events spaces in Glasgow, The Collector’s Hall.
The red carpet, sponsored by Edinburgh Executive Travel, welcomed a long list of star-studded guests to the luxurious and grand premises to celebrate the opening of the building, which will undoutedly fill its walls with love for many years.
Celebs arrived in Glasgow on Friday August 28, for the glittering launch night. Among those attending was former Corrie actress Helen Flanagan, who looked sensational as she discussed her own love life.
The launch party at the venue, attached to the AC Hotel by Marriott, was hosted by TV presenter Jean Johansson, with a star-studded guest list including the likes of BBC Strictly’s Ross King, Dr Punam Krishnan and Love Island stars Ekin Su and Molly Marsh.

Gushing over her love for the city at the glitzy launch event, Helen told the Daily Record: “I love Glasgow as a city but I’m such a northern girl and it only takes about three hours in the car to get here I just love it.”
“All my family are from the Lake District, but I must have some sort of Scottish connection, because I’m always happy when I’m here,” Helen joked.
Discussing her split with former fiancĂ© Scott Sinclair and her desire to move to Scotland, she said: “I am always less stressed when I’m here. I did go through a period when I split with the father of my children when I thought to myself ‘where do I actually wanna live’ and I did think of Scotland.”
“I think as an actress though ultimately being in London is better. I just love Glasgow though, and Loch Lomond too I am always taking trips there it’s just so nice and relaxing and chilled.”
Helen separated from her most recent relationship with her ex-boyfriend Robbie Talbot back in May, and has been soaking up single life again.
Admitting she finds it hard to navigate sometimes, Helen admitted: “I don’t know if I’m really good at being single but I am just trying to enjoy the time being with my friends and having this time to think ‘right what do I want to do’ and ‘where do I want to live’
“Just being able to focus on my own goals really, and myself more than anything. It’s just a really strange adaptation when you have always had a boyfriend, I’ve always had one since I was the age of 17.
“I lived with my first boyfriend and then I was with Scott for 13 years and had the kids and then to come to this age and be single, but it’s quite nice though and empowering to be where I am and focus on what I want now.”
Meanwhile at the Glasgow event, celebs and stars enjoyed the luxury bash into the small hours with Pussycat Dolls’ Kimberly Wyatt taking to the DJ decks. Singer Natalie James also joined forces with the powerful GEO Gospel Choir.
Britain’s Got Talent magician Cameron Young baffled guests with a touch of magic before rising DJ Elisha closed the evening with an energetic set.
The Collector’s Hall beautifully merges its original features such as vaulted ceilings and stone archways with contemporary design, intelligent lighting and versatile event spaces.
The main hall, which can accommodate up to 120 seated guests, is the centrepiece of the venue. The adjoining glass-covered courtyard provides a stunning space for receptions.
With 240 hotel bedrooms directly connected, The Collector’s Hall presents a unique city-centre events destination. As attendees left with cherished memories, it has made its mark as Glasgow’s most thrilling new venue for weddings and memorable events.
