The first Glasgow derby of the new season is upon us.

Celtic, despite serious summer transfer troubles and getting knocked out of the Champions League, have a 100% winning record in the Scottish Premiership thus far.

The same cannot be said for Rangers, who have drawn all three of their opening league games while losing 6-0 to Club Brugge in midweek.

The Hoops can go nine points clear of the Light Blues with victory at Ibrox, and a win would put smiles back on Celtic fans’ faces.

It’s the first Glasgow derby of the 2025/26 season as Celtic travel the short distance across Glasgow to face Rangers at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership. Kick-off is at 12pm BST.

Is Rangers vs Celtic live on TV?

Yes, Rangers vs Celtic will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football. Coverage is scheduled to begin at 11:00 BST which is one hour before kick-off.

Celtic supporters living outside the UK and Ireland can watch the derby live on Celtic TV provided you have an international subscription.

Brendan Rodgers will be without Jota, Alistair Johnston and Auston Trusty for the Glasgow derby, but Anthony Ralston should be fit enough to feature.

Michel-Ange Balikwisha and Marcelo Saracchi have been registered in time to make the matchday squad at Ibrox.

Referee & VAR

The officials for Rangers vs Celtic have been confirmed by the SFA. The on-field referee will be Don Robertson and he will be assisted by Daniel McFarlane and Chris Rae.

Andrew Dallas will be the VAR, while Calum Scott has been confirmed as the AVAR.
