Two protestors held an England flag with a message written on it reading: “Stop the boats 100%.”
It’s understood that today is the fifth protest to have taken place in Cannock in recent weeks.
Protestors were earlier today pictured in the town centre, along with a smaller group of counter-demonstrators.
Demonstrators were then seen outside the hotel, behind a set of orange barriers.

Although counter-demonstrators have attended protests at the site in recent weeks, including those from Stand Up To Racism, none were reportedly there today.
A handful of police officers were also spotted standing near the protestors, with a police van parked farther back.
