Prince William reportedly once made a “savage” joke about Princess Kate’s “inappropriate outfit”.
The Princess of Wales is frequently praised as a “fashion icon”, but before she became a senior member of the Royal Family, she was still discovering her style.
According to one of William’s advisers, Kate had yet to understand that you must “dress carefully” before appearing in public. On one occasion, this resulted in a harsh joke from her husband.
Speaking to The Times, the adviser revealed: “Before Kate realized that as a senior Royal you have to dress carefully, having taken advice, she once bought an outfit that William considered inappropriate.

“He told Kate she looked as if she’d just run through a charity shop covered in superglue. Everyone thought this was very funny, including, to her credit, Kate.”, reports the Express.
It’s reported that the Princess of Wales enjoys mocking her husband, too. Sources claim Kate frequently teases William about his family.

She allegedly maintains that William is starting to resemble his great-great-great-grandfather Edward VII as he gets older. His stepmother, Queen Camilla, is allegedly descended from Edward VII’s favorite mistress, reports Cambridgeshire Live.
Throughout the years, William and Kate have frequently been spotted laughing together. During a visit to an art group in Shepherd’s Bush last year, William joked that Kate was “the arty one” while they were decorating biscuits.
When they revealed their engagement in 2010, interviewer Tom Bradby questioned William and Kate about whether rumors of Kate displaying posters of her prince on her bedroom wall were accurate.
The Prince jokingly declared: “It wasn’t just one, it was like 10, 20 [posters].” Kate fired back: “He wishes. No, I had the Levi’s guy on my bedroom wall, not a picture of William. Sorry.”
During a trip to a UK military base in Cyprus in December 2018, the pair exchanged banter about William’s poor habits.

He cautioned the soldiers: “Keep the pizza off the sofas!”. His wife playfully responded: “You’re a nightmare with that”.
William and Kate aren’t the only royals recognized for their wit. William’s aunt, Princess Anne, has earned countless admirers with her razor-sharp humor.
Anne once purchased her brother, King Charles, a toilet seat for Christmas. Former Royal press secretary Dickie Arbiter once explained why this present was fitting for the then-future King.
He revealed: “What is it we used to call the loo? We would call it the throne. You go and sit on the throne. So buying a leather-bound loo seat was really Princess Anne’s way of saying, ‘Here you are, you’ve got your own personal throne’.”
