A beloved family-run furniture store is closing down after 40 years in business.
The Store Interiors, based in Anniesland, Glasgow, will shut its doors for the final time in the next few weeks as founders Arun and Ashoke Pasi retire.
The business began in the former Bilsland Bakery on Whitehall Street in 1987 and grew into a three-floor, 20,000 sq ft showroom.

In a statement, the owners said: “All good things must come to an end.
“After 40 wonderful years, Arun and Ashoke Pasi are retiring, and The Store Interiors will soon close its doors.
“From our very first day in 1987 to our Anniesland showroom today, none of this would have been possible without our loyal customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
“We are deeply grateful for your support over the decades.
“A very special Retirement Sale is starting tomorrow, and £468,000 worth of stock must go.
“Available in-store only.”
The retirement sale began yesterday, August 30, with every item in the showroom available for purchase until the store closes permanently.
