Leeds United drew 0-0 with Newcastle United but all the talk from Sky Sports pundit Stuart Dallas post-match centred around signings.
The former Leeds United utility man was on punditry duty alongside Newcastle United legend Shay Given and they believe that there are not enough goals in this team.
The win over Everton came via a late penalty, meaning their only goal in open play was Jayden Bogle’s strike against a Sheffield Wednesday team with an average age of 21 in the League Cup.
Farke couldn’t be clearer. He feels they need more quality before Monday at 7pm and if they don’t, ‘it will be difficult’ to stay up. #lufc

Post-match, Daniel Farke laid bare that Leeds need attacking additions. He doubled down on the issue and stated two players are ideal to bolster the forward ranks.

He didn’t name names but Farke has made clear he wants a versatile creative player at the least, and since then laid out his ideas to the 49ers publicly in needing maybe as many as two more if they are to survive the drop.
Farke still hoping for 2 more signings before Monday night. Didn’t comment when asked about Buonanotte.

Dallas agreed when speaking to Sky Sports. The Northern Irishman said: “Calvert-Lewin’s obviously come in and he’s not fully fit. He needs time to get up to speed.

“This international break will do him the world of good, because he’ll work hard on his fitness throughout it. But I definitely think they need more. I know the club are working tirelessly to bring players in, but it has to be right.
“Because of PSR and stuff, they can’t just go and spend so much money on one striker. They have to be clever about it; it’s a complicated situation.
“So, I know firsthand the club are working tirelessly to get deals over the line. But they definitely need something at the top end of the pitch.
“The manager alluded to it a few weeks ago that, if they can get to the first international break and see where they are, obviously the window will be slammed shut, and it must be frustrating for managers as well.
“But, yeah, certainly Leeds need extra bodies in them forward positions.
“I think Calvert-Lewin is a great signing for Leeds. I think, if they can keep him fit, he’s a huge asset to them. They’ve signed a couple of other players that need time to adjust to the league itself.
“There is players there that have quality that can help Leeds. But again, I look at the midfield — they’ve lost [Ethan] Ampadu and [Ao] Tanaka as well. Do they need to strengthen in midfield now over the next few days?
“Only the medical staff will know how long these players are going to be. So, it’s a big few days for them. It’s a big few days for every club but more so, from my point of view, for Leeds.”

Leeds have signed 10 new players but they’re still lacking some creativity and firepower at the top of the pitch. The talk of a midfielder is interesting from Dallas, however.
So far this summer, Leeds have spent £100 million on new players, and whilst Leeds have a much more balanced side, they are now utilising a midfield three and there are question marks over whether the current options are of the requisite quality.
Farke has explained Tanaka and Ampadu’s injuries lately, with both thought to be MCL issues and unlikely to keep them out for long, but they cannot afford for either to be out together simultaneously again this season.
Sean Longstaff and Anton Stach have impressed either side of the Arsenal thumping, but it is not a lot of midfield depth for a team aiming to be playing with three of the four at once.
