Leeds United have until 7pm GMT on Monday to finalise their summer transfer business.

Four points from the first three games have represented a solid start to life back in the Premier League, though Leeds United’s 0-0 draw with Newcastle showcased the need for more attacking arrivals as a minimum.

10 new arrivals have checked in at Elland Road, with Anton Stach being the standout for Leeds so far this season.

More statement signings could be made in the final stages of the transfer window, with MOT Leeds News taking a look at what business could be done.

Leeds prioritised their defensive options at the start of the window, bringing in Jaka Bijol, Sebastian Bornauw and Gabriel Gudmundsson before later adding James Justin from Leicester.

Stach and Sean Longstaff have bolstered the midfield, while Lukas Nmecha, Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have been brought in to bolster their attack.

However, it is certainly the latter that has received the least attention, and will be the area that the Whites look to prioritise before the deadline.

Concerns have already emerged over Lucas Perri at Leeds, though his clean sheet at home to Eddie Howe’s Newcastle will have subdued some of that.

Leeds have made no secret of their desire to sign Gus Hamer, not just this summer, but also in previous transfer windows.

Before Sheffield United’s defeat to Middlesbrough, it was claimed that Hamer to Leeds was almost a done deal, though the Dutchman featured in that clash.

After a winless start in the Championship, he may start agitating for a move, though PSV have also registered an interest in Hamer.

Dilane Bakwa has also been linked with Leeds this summer, and he is the type of statement signing that the Whites need to make in the latter stages of the window.

A left-footed right-winger, Bakwa is exactly what Leeds are missing this season, and while it would be a big financial commitment, it would be worth it.

Unsurprisingly, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest have also been linked, showcasing that it is a difficult race to win for the Frenchman.

Illan Meslier has been linked with a Leeds exit all summer, and time is running out for that to become a reality.

Rangers have been mooted as a shock landing spot for Meslier, who could move on from Elland Road for as little as £6million.

After losing his place to Perri, it became evident that the Frenchman had no future with Leeds, though his disastrous campaign last time out has seemingly put off any potential suitors.

If Leeds are successful in their pursuit of another winger, there is a chance that Jack Harrison could depart Elland Road.

He featured in Leeds’ draw against Newcastle, but offered little, and will drop further down the pecking order if another signing arrives.
