A collision on the Edinburgh bypass has led to delays for rush hour drivers.

The incident was first reported just after 4.30pm at the Calder junction. Motorists have been urged to ‘use caution’ and allow extra time for their journey.

The condition of those involved is not currently known. Traffic Scotland said: “Accident, 4.33pm, A720(E) Calder Jct to Dreghorn, westbound.

“The A720 is currently restricted westbound at Calder due to a road traffic incident. Motorists are advised to use caution on approach and allow extra time for their journey.”
