Fulham reportedly close in on a deal for AC Milan’s Samuel Chukwueze, who is travelling to London ahead of his proposed switch.

AC Milan attacker Samuel Chukwueze has reportedly travelled to London ahead of a potential loan move to Fulham.

The Cottagers are keen to bring in reinforcements before Monday’s deadline, having made just one new addition in the summer transfer window.

Fulham are hoping to recruit Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin, who is already in London ahead of his proposed switch.

The West London club are believed to be looking to sign another winger before the market slams shut after losing Willian and Reiss Nelson at the end of last season.

According to Sky Sports News, Fulham are closing in on an agreement to sign long-term target Chukwueze from AC Milan.

The report suggests that the Cottagers are looking to sign the former Villarreal man on a season-long loan deal.

In a separate update, journalist Pete Rutzler claims that Chukwueze is on his way to London to complete a medical.

However, Fulham still need to finalise a deal with Milan before they can finalise Chukwueze’s move to Craven Cottage before the window shuts at 7pm on Monday.

Who is Fulham’s transfer target?

Chukwueze scored 37 goals and provided 29 assists in 207 matches for Villarreal, before he completed a move to Italian giants AC Milan in the summer of 2023.

The 26-year-old has made 70 competitive appearances for the Rossoneri, but he has been unable to establish himself as a regular fixture in the starting lineup.

Chukwueze’s situation has not changed following the appointment of Massimiliano Allegri, who has used the winger in just one of his first three matches in charge.

As a result, Chukwueze hopes that a potential move to Fulham will offer him the chance to play regular football, while it would also allow him to try a new challenge in a different league.

Chukwueze and Kevin could add to Marco Silva‘s current wide options, which include Harry Wilson, Alex Iwobi and Adama Traore
