My Life with the Walter Boys has jumped to the top of Netflix‘s worldwide streaming chart, just days after its season 2 debut.

The hit teen drama centres around Jackie Howard, a 15 year-old New Yorker whose vibrant life is turned upside down after the death of her parents and sister.

Jackie moves to rural Colorado to live with her mother’s best friend Katherine Walter, who is raising ten other children with her husband George. But while settling into the quaint town of Silver Falls, Jackie becomes entangled in a love triangle with Katherine’s sons Alex and Cole.

Since then, the series has been dethroned by Spanish thriller Two Graves, which has taken over the top spot. Meanwhile, My Life with the Walter Boys currently sits at a respectable number 2.

Described as an “entertaining binge-watch” in an IMDb review, season one ended with Jackie making her way back to New York, as her feelings for the two brothers became even more complicated.

In season two, Katherine follows Jackie to the big city in search of answers and begs her to return to her new family in Silver Falls.

Season 2 of My Life With the Walter Boys is now streaming on Netflix.
