Florian Wirtz has arrived at Germany’s national team camp and is set to be fit to play in their first World Cup qualifiers later in the week.
Wirtz, 22, limped of late in Liverpool’s 1-0 Premier League win over Arsenal.

There were concerns he may have suffered a muscle injury, but Liverpool coach Arne Slot later spoke of cramps, and there was no talk of an injury when he arrived in Germany on Monday.
Germany start qualifying on Thursday in Bratislava against Slovakia, and host Northern Ireland on Sunday in Cologne.
Luxembourg are the other team in the group, with the group winner qualifying directly for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
Wirtz is a key player for Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann. That even more because the other creative forward, Jamal Musiala, is sidelined for months with a leg fracture, and Tim Kleindienst and Kai Havertz are injured as well.

Nagelsmann is also without first choice goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen and centre back Nico Schlotterbeck.
Eintracht Frankfurt full back Nnamdi Collins, Mainz midfielder Paul Nebel and Augsburg goalkeeper Finn Dahmen are three new men in the squad.
The first training session at the camp in Herzogenaurach is scheduled for Tuesday.
