A man has been charged following three alleged incidents of indecent exposure in a park in Newton-le-Willows. It follows an investigation into reports a man was exposing himself in Willow Park.
The three charges relate to alleged incidents in March, May and August of this year when a man reportedly exposed himself in front of women aged in their 20s. Hayden Howard, 32, of Sefton Road, in Ashton-in-Makerfield, appeared at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court this morning, September 1, and has been remanded to next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, September 22.

For women who have felt or feel unsafe in public spaces the Home Office has set up a pilot service (StreetSafe | Police.uk ) for anyone wishing to anonymously report public places where they have felt or feel unsafe.
This could be because of environmental issues – for example street lighting, abandoned buildings or vandalism – or because of some behaviours, for example being followed or verbally abused.
Please note: ‘StreetSafe’ is not for reporting crime or incidents.
