A MUCH-LOVED Glasgow bar could be set to reopen after teasing a comeback on social media.
Earlier this summer, Driftwood, on Sauchiehall Street, appeared to have closed for good after their social media pages were deleted and bookings were cancelled.

The Glasgow institution had been serving drinks for 30 years and was known for it’s cheap booze.
However, a post on their newly re-activated Instagram last weekend teased “we’re back!!!”
They added that they will be reopening soon.
The post racked in hundreds of likes from happy punters.
They took to the comments to share their excitement of the news.
One said: “About damn time.”
Another added: “Never been so happy in my life.”
A third chimed in: “Omg yes!!!!!! Just need the driftwood quiz back on a Tuesday now!!!”
A fourth said: “Faith has been restored.”
Driftwood was known for their drink creations such as Buckfast jelly bombs and fishbowls as well as creative foods like the pie and beans pizza.

The bar was also hailed for its cheap booze, with shots for £1 and vodka and mix for £2.
We previously reported that Glasgow nightlife mogul Donald MacLeod, who owns the popular nightclubs Cathouse and Garage, took to his X page about the closure of the bar.
He said: “This is desperately sad news.
“I’m gutted for my friend and owner Dario, Nicola and their team, who for 28 years worked tirelessly to put this corner of Sauchiehall St and Charing Cross on the map and turn it into an iconic Glasgow Institution, only to see it torn away from them in the blink of an eye.”
