Bruno Tonioli’s Britain’s Got Talent successor has been announced two months after the Italian departed his judging position. The former Strictly Come Dancing star, 69, stepped down from the panel following the most recent series, but viewers will be delighted to learn a previous temporary judge is now securing a full-time role.
Bruno’s departure will witness KSI assume his place at the judging panel permanently after several outstanding guest appearances during the last run. Whilst supporters of the ITV programme will be excited, the musician and sporting personality is equally enthusiastic.
He commented regarding the news: “I’m so grateful and happy to be a part of the Britain’s Got Talent team for another season I had such a good time last year and I can’t wait to see some more top talent”.
KSI continued: “I’m full of energy, ready to go and can’t wait to make this the most entertaining BGT season ever. Let’s do this.”

Notably, it was KSI’s golden buzzer recipient, Harry Moulding, who ultimately claimed victory in the previous series. The celebrity will be hoping his talent-spotting abilities will once more prove successful, reports the Mirror.
The choice to confirm KSI’s role as permanent follows Bruno’s announcement of his exit after three series in the chair. During July, it emerged that owing to his American obligations with Dancing with the Stars, Bruno would be unable to maintain the role.
He has now stated: “After three incredible series, I’ve sadly had to walk away from a job which has opened my eyes to so much incredible talent and step down as a judge on BGT.
“And whilst I look forward to filming a new series of Dancing with the Stars in the US, I will miss the chaos and joy that BGT brings, as well as all the wonderful people I’ve had the privilege of working with.
“They truly are a brilliant team who make brilliant television, and I know KSI will be a fantastic judge too, as he’s already proven this year.”

Music artist, YouTuber and boxer KSI is set to join returning favourites Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon on the judging panel for the 19th series of the show.
In March, it was reported that KSI’s net worth was an astonishing £79.3m, according to Celebrity Net Worth. However, he has suggested that he could increase this figure to over a billion if he were to sell everything he is involved in.
His claim was made last April on his mate CalFreezy’s channel. He said: “If I sold every… probably yeah. If I sold literally everything that is to me, like Misfits, Sidemen, Prime, etc., yeah [he values himself at £1billion].”
It is reported that Prime Hydration generated sales of £929m ($1.2bn) in 2023 alone. Regardless, KSI also estimated that he would have a 10 figure valuation in 2025 when appearing in the video, which equates to at least £1bn.
