Leeds United failed to make any signings on deadline day, ending the window with 10 additions and more than £100m spent on the likes of Anton Stach, Noah Okafor and Lucas Perri.
On deadline day, Leeds were linked with a few different players but it all culminated in a last-ditch move to sign Harry Wilson from Fulham. Leeds were confident they had struck a deal to land the Wales star.
Fulham wanted to sign players before selling Wilson, after The Cottagers initially rejected a loan bid for Wilson from Leeds. Fulham signed Samuel Chukwueze and Kevin, and that gave Leeds hope of a deal.
But Fulham pulled the plug on a move for Wilson at the final stage. It meant Leeds did not make any new signings on deadline day, but there was a permanent deal Leeds did on deadline day, and it was an exit.

Gyabi has agreed a move to Hull City, signing a three-year deal with the option of a fourth. Hull have a transfer embargo in place, meaning they could only sign players on free transfers or on loan deals.
It appears then, that Leeds have let Gyabi go on a free. However, to compensate The Whites, the Hull Daily Mail claim that Leeds have inserted a massive 50% sell-on clause in Gyabi’s contract with Hull.
Leeds were expected to say goodbye to six players going into the final week of the window. Gyabi was one of those, joining Sam Greenwood, Patrick Bamford, Isaac Schmidt and Largie Ramazani in leaving.
Only one of those six now remains at Elland Road with nothing reported about a move for Illan Meslier. Meslier was linked with Valencia and his boyhood side Lorient on deadline day, but nothing materialised.

Darko Gyabi’s touching message to Leeds after leaving for Hull
It is now three years since Gyabi joined Leeds for a £5m fee from Man City, joining the club at the same time that Kalvin Phillips joined Man City for £45m. But since then, Gyabi has failed to make it at Leeds.
For half of the three years Gyabi spent at Leeds, the midfielder was on loan at Plymouth. But relegation last season saw Gyabi return, when survival might have seen Gyabi remain with Argyle this summer.
Now at Hull, Gyabi posted a touching message. He said: “Thank you to Leeds United and all the staff members who have helped my growth over the last few years. Wishing you all the best in the future.”
