Prince Harry will reportedly shift his focus toward charitable endeavors rather than bombshell interviews, according to a Royal expert’s recent claims.
Sources suggest that the Duke of Sussex’s new strategy could aid reconciliation efforts as he seeks to repair his relationship with King Charles.
Ingrid Seward, Editor-in-Chief of Majesty Magazine, told Fox News Digital: “I think his direction will concentrate on as much charity work as he can find that interests him, or he feels that he can really help with… Hopefully, Harry will just rebuild his life.”
She added, “The future for Harry is a difficult one. I’m not sure what the future holds for Harry. I’m sure Harry’s not sure what the future holds for Harry.
“But he’s going to concentrate on his charity work, which isn’t a huge amount of work at the moment. But [in 2027] he has the Invictus Games in the UK.”
Harry’s Invictus Games will return to the UK in 2027
Regarding the Invictus Games scheduled for Birmingham in July 2027, Ms Seward expressed her belief that “He [Harry] very much hopes that his father will attend.”
The Invictus Games Foundation’s Board of Trustees had previously narrowed down the selection to Birmingham UK and Washington DC, USA as the final two contenders for hosting the eighth edition of the Games.
After hearing pitches from both competing cities earlier this year, Birmingham secured the hosting rights, with organizers emphasizing the National Exhibition Centre as their preferred venue.

Following the announcement of the victory, Prince Harry declared in a statement: “Over the years, we’ve seen each city bring a unique spirit and vision to life for competitors, their families and spectators.
“We have no doubt the people of Birmingham will join in celebrating the unwavering respect and admiration we have for our veteran and service community, showing the world how their courage ignites hope and unites us all – something your city knows well.”
The Duke of Sussex has remained distant from his relatives since he and his spouse, Meghan Markle, abandoned Royal responsibilities in 2020 and relocated to California.
Following their departure, the pair has voiced their complaints through interviews and documentaries, most prominently with television personality Oprah Winfrey.
Harry’s published autobiography, Spare, in January 2023, also revealed his frustrations with Royal Family members and chronicled portions of his military career.
During a BBC interview in May, the 40-year-old revealed that King Charles, who received a cancer diagnosis for an undisclosed type in 2024, refuses to communicate with him.
He informed BBC America: “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore.”
That same month, photographs disclosed that Harry’s staff conducted a confidential meeting with the King’s communications secretary at a private members’ club in central London.
