Tottenham Hotspur, all things considered, have had a busy transfer deadline day with Thomas Frank bringing in Randal Kolo Muani.

Kolo Muani joins on a season-long loan from PSG, with Thomas Frank keen to bolster his attacking options amid a Dominic Solanke injury sustained in the Premier League in the Bournemouth defeat.

But alongside the incoming, Tottenham were also working hard behind the scenes on outgoings – one of which saw Spurs sending a player out on loan late.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed this, in classic Romano fashion, with a “here we go.”

Romano has confirmed after the transfer deadline that Manor Solomon is set for a move to Spain, with a straight loan to Villarreal as his destination.

He wrote: “Exclusive story confirmed: Manor Solomon to Villarreal, deal agreed and here we go! Straight loan from Tottenham, salary covered, and now working on paperwork.”

A nice, simple one to round off the 2025 transfer window for Spurs – but one that many may have missed given it was after the deadline.

Manor Solomon was never going to play for Tottenham

It’s a good job Spurs got rid. Despite success at Leeds United in the Championship last season, it was very apparent that the Israeli was going to get no game time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season.

Spurs now have dynamic attacking options, with Kolo Muani adding to the firepower they’ve picked up this summer in Mohammed Kudus and Xavi Simons.

It is well and truly a new era at Tottenham, with new faces to match. Where will they finish in the Premier League this season?
