Pro wrestling fans have reason to celebrate as WWE returns to Europe in 2026 with a live event set for Scotland.
WWE has confirmed a new Glasgow event as part of its European Road to Royal Rumble Tour, taking place in January 2026. The tour will see WWE Superstars perform across the UK, Germany, Denmark, Poland and Northern Ireland ahead of the landmark Royal Rumble event.
The Glasgow show is scheduled for Saturday, January 10 at the OVO Hydro. Fans can register for pre-sale ticket opportunities through WWE’s official website, with further details on ticket sales and broadcast plans expected soon, Glasgow Live reports.
Attendees can expect appearances from some of WWE’s biggest stars.
Performers include Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, Jey Uso, Rhea Ripley, Jade Cargill, Jacob Fatu, LA Knight, Drew McIntyre, Bianca Belair, and GUNTHER, among others.

The Royal Rumble itself will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in January. It will mark the first time the prestigious event has been hosted outside North America, adding further significance to the European tour.
Glasgow has become a key stop for WWE in recent years. Earlier this year, in March, the OVO Hydro hosted Monday Night Raw, drawing a 13,000-strong crowd.

Fans were vocal throughout the night, with cheers and boos echoing across the arena. Highlights included appearances by John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley and Rey Mysterio.
The city also hosted another major WWE event last June, a Premium Live Event called Clash at the Castle.
The main event featured Scotland’s own Drew McIntyre facing then WWE Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. Despite McIntyre’s loss, fans packed the venue in high spirits, demonstrating Glasgow’s passionate support for professional wrestling.
