Prince William is allegedly wary about his father, King Charles III, meeting with his younger brother, Prince Harry, next week following their estrangement.
“William is worried that with the stuff Harry has said, he could use it to his advantage again… like he’s already done,” Charles’ former butler, Grant Harrold, told the New York Post in an article published on Tuesday, September 2. “I think, sadly, they don’t trust him. It’s a shame, because Harry wants them to.”
“There are trust issues there, but the king misses his son [Harry],” Harrold, 47, told the publication.
A source echoed a similar sentiment to the Daily Beast on Sunday, August 31, describing the Prince of Wales, 43, as “a loyal soldier.”
“He respects his father’s rank, and he respects his father’s right to make his own decisions, and he won’t make a fuss if it happens,” the source explained. “But he thinks a Harry meeting is a terrible, terrible idea.”

The Duke of Sussex, 40, has divulged personal details about his family in his 2023 memoir, Spare, as well as in various interviews.
As Star reported last week, Harry is set to meet with the 76-year-old King of the United Kingdom when he attends the England for the WellChild Awards on September 8, according to The Mirror.
However, a source told the publication there will not be a brotherly reunion between William and Harry.
“Any chance of reconciliation between them has been rejected out of hand,” the source claimed.
