A man and a woman were heard arguing in the street in the early hours.

Forensic officers have been seen combing the scene of an alleged stabbing in an Edinburgh street.
Officers were called to an incident in the capital’s Great Junction Street at around 2am on Tuesday.
Local residents called emergency services after a man and woman were heard arguing in the early hours.
One told the Record: “I heard a lot of yelling between a man and a woman in the early hours around 2am.
“I then heard several police cars arrive at the scene.
“It was a stabbing.

“The area is all closed off this morning with investigators and forensics.
“The police have said they don’t know how long the road will be closed for.
“They said they will be going door to door to take statements.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed paramedics had also attended the incident.
They said: “We can confirm we received a call today at 02:09 hours to attend an incident on Great Junction Street in Edinburgh.”
