Palace shares update as King Charles visits hospital in Birmingham

King Charles III arrived in Birmingham, where Prince Harry’s Invictus Games will be held in 2027, to officially open the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital.

During his visit, the 76-year-old met medical professionals, volunteers and patients in its 4,000 square metre enclosed ‘Winter Garden’.

Royal commentator Rebecca English also shared the exciting update on the King.

She wrote on X: “The king is officially opening the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital in Birmingham and meeting medical professionals, volunteers and patients in its4,000square metre enclosed ‘Winter Garden'”

The monarch also joined Daniel Joyce, Newman Archivist and Librarian, at the Birmingham Oratory. He was seen consulting various books and historical items.

William and Harry’s father was also seen joking and laughing with a group of FathersĀ 

The 76-year-old looked to be in great spirits as she animatedly chatted to the religious group.
