SHEFFIELD have postponed Wednesday night’s scheduled home fixture with Ipswich.
After making good progress with the track throughout the day, two massive downpours between 4pm and 5pm left the track sodden.
The postponement means that Ipswich will now finish top of the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership, regardless of Thursday’s result at Foxhall, meaning they will face Belle Vue in the play-off semi-finals next week.
Sheffield will meet Leicester on Monday, September 15 and Thursday, September 18 with venues to be decided dependent on the final league standings which will be known tomorrow night (Thursday, September 4).
Re-admission tickets from the postponed clash on Thursday, August 28 can be used for the play-off semi-final home leg.
