Super League

The recruitment market is gathering pace as the 2025 season draws to a close and clubs put their squads together for 2026 and beyond. Of course, Super League clubs have the luxury of being able to register as many as 10 overseas players in their squads from next season, with the rules around quota players to be relaxed slightly for next year.

Some clubs such as Hull FC, have already filled those spots, with the Black and Whites announcing the signings of Sam Lisone and Jake Arthur for next season, while Liam Knight will be sticking around, too.

Catalans Dragons and Castleford Tigers have been extremely busy, too, with Semi Valemi and Mikaele Ravalawa, the most recent signings announced by the Tigers over the last few days.

More signings are on their way from down under of course and some teams, like St Helens for example, look set to recruit heavily from the southern hemisphere market, with Reagan Campbell-Gillard the most recent to be linked to the Totally Wicked Stadium.

With that in mind, here’s a look at the current overseas quota situation at the 12 current Super League clubs.
